Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the UNITI training portal at uniti.team ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

UNITI is a non-profit member training program that delivers live and recorded video sessions, supporting documents, a community feed, and related career guidance. The Service is provided free of charge.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• One account per person. Don't share your login.
• You must verify your email address before accessing member content.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Redistribute, sell, or republish session videos, documents, or other materials
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service
• Post content that's harassing, threatening, deceptive, illegal, or infringing on others' rights
• Promote unrelated organizations, products, or services in the community feed without permission
• Use the Service to spam other members or send unsolicited messages
• Impersonate any person or organization
• Bypass security measures or access areas you're not authorized to access

4. Member content

You retain ownership of comments, posts, and other content you create on the Service. By posting, you grant UNITI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content within the Service to other members. You are responsible for your content; don't post things you don't have the right to share.

We reserve the right to remove or moderate content that violates these Terms or community guidelines.

5. Program materials

Session videos, supporting documents, curriculum, and the certificate of completion remain the intellectual property of UNITI and the original creators. They are provided for your personal learning. You may not redistribute them.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you've violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. After termination, your access ends and we'll process data deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best, but we don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.

The training is for educational purposes. UNITI does not provide certifications recognized by external bodies, employment guarantees, or professional advice (legal, financial, medical, etc.). Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UNITI, its volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months — which, since the Service is free, is zero.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
